Behind the Scenes: BetterBe x Katie Loff Photography
Share
We needed fresh images that felt like BetterBe: calm mornings, honest light, simple beauty. We found Katie Loff Photography, whose natural-light work matched that feeling. We met early, set a quiet mood, and kept the set minimal. Open window light. White bedding.
Katie’s direction was attentive and light-touch. She gave small cues, then let moments breathe, which kept everything unforced and natural. It also showed what we care about. We choose bamboo because it is plant based, breathable, and kind to hair. It feels good on skin, helps reduce friction, and feels soft. That combination is exactly how we want BetterBe to feel.
On set we learned a practical lesson too. Pillowcases are tricky to photograph. They are soft, low structure, and their proportions can look different on camera than in real life. Our model grounded the frames with gentle movement and gave scale.
The images are better than I hoped for. Thank you, Katie.
