Why it started
I wanted the softness of silk, without using silk.
So many overnight hair-care products are built around silk. But silk is animal-derived, and for me, that never felt aligned.
BetterBe began as a search for something different: a plant-based, soft-feeling alternative that could still support hair overnight, feel elevated, and fit naturally into a conscious beauty routine.
Bamboo became the answer. Smooth, soft and beautifully wearable, it offered a way to create hair accessories that feel luxurious without relying on traditional silk.
