Classic or slim?

The classic scrunchie is oversized and plush, with a secure hold that suits thick hair, high puffs and protective styles. It also gives a fuller look when you want the tie to be part of the outfit.

The slim scrunchie sits lower and lighter. It is made for everyday wear and for finer hair that does not need as much grip, and it is gentle enough for a loose overnight pineapple or braid.

Why bamboo rather than elastic or satin

Bare elastics grip a narrow band of hair and pull hardest exactly where they sit. Polyester satin is smoother than cotton, but it can feel slippery and synthetic and tends to lose its shape. Bamboo is naturally smooth and soft, holds without digging in, and is plant-based rather than animal-derived or petroleum-based.
